Slotted pipes are widely used in deep bore wells and oil wells as an effective sand control solution. During drilling and production, sand entering the well can reduce efficiency, and slotted pipes help prevent this by being installed during early completion or production stages.
- Strong and reliable for long completion intervals or low productivity wells
- Manufactured from steel pipe or casing with milled or saw cut slots
- Ideal for vertical wells in consolidated or coarse formations
- Low open area configuration (around 3%)
- Slot sizes available from 0.38 mm to 6 mm
- Pipe diameters from 2" to 9 5/8"
